This video shows a lot of statistics on how women are not involved in multiple issues around the nation with videos and news. Many can take it as men are more qualified or are better at these things but women over the past and the present have shown that they are capable of such things. They are still perceived more as objects than actual people. This shows the struggles that women are still going through in today's society and that are still trying to overcome.
I'm an assistant professor of communication and media studies at Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa. My scholarly interests are gender and the media, multimedia journalism and media history. I've written and/or edited for USA Today, The Washington Post, The Des Moines Register and Better Homes and Gardens Special Interest Media.
